Carle/IGB Stem Cell Facility

The Carle/Illinois Stem Cell Facility has been designed to process Biohazard Level 2 (BL2) material for researchers at the Illinois campus and beyond. Located in the Research Park, and operated by the Institute for Genomic Biology in conjunction with Carle Foundation Hospital, the facility offers isolation and enrichment of low frequency cell subpopulations (stem cells).

CU Aerospace

CU Aerospace is operated as an integrated aerospace company that is engaged in identifying and developing promising new aerospace technologies with the ultimate goal being commercialization and distribution of those technologies. The senior personnel involved have conducted joint research for many years and are experienced in the disciplines employed in an integrated aerospace company. Further, the principals have been involved with other aerospace companies (small and large) in the research. Some of the principals are conducting interdisciplinary research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Five product areas are being pursued at the present time, Laser Products, Electric Propulsion, Space Systems Software, Aircraft Products and Aerospace Materials.
