Companies are emerging from the Research Park as they move from developing technology concepts to producing prototyped products and servicing clients with advanced equipment. Fox/Atkins constructed the Technology Development Fabrication Center to accommodate companies that require lab space and light assembly/manufacturing for new technology. It provides a lower cost alternative to multi-story office space in the Research Park, and flexible space that is appropriate for the production stage of technology development, product assembly, and lab testing. The single story building building on Oak Street opened in July 2006.
