Wendy's

Dave Thomas opened his first restaurant in Columbus, Ohio in 1969. He named it after his daughter, Melinda, whose nickname was Wendy. Dave wanted to build a place where families would come together to enjoy delicious meals in a comfortable and friendly environment. All Wendy's employees live by the creed that Quality is Our Recipe.
