Research Park at the University of Illinois

The Research Park at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign provides an environment where technology-based businesses can work with research faculty and students to take advantage of opportunities for collaborative research with easy access to University labs, equipment, and services.

Located minutes from central campus, Research Park is now home to over 50 companies and growing.  The Research Park employs almost 1,200 people in high-technology careers. At any given time, more than 200 student interns with leading-edge technical skills are working in these companies, gaining valuable work experience while making real contributions to internal corporate research and product development programs.

Strata Building

Currently, 2 research and development class A office spaces are available located at 2001 South First Street. The spaces available include: 3,635 square feet and 3,275 square feet. The space can be custom built to suit.

iCyt Building

Currently 2 research and development Class A office spaces are available located at 2100 South Oak Street. The spaces available include: 3,400 square feet and 1,800 square feet. The 3,400 square feet of space is divisible and both available spaces can be custom built to suit.

Information Technology Center

Recently completed, the new building at the Research Park has 23,145 square feet of Class A office space available. The space is divisible, and can be custom built to suit.

Technology Development and Fabrication Center

Recently completed, this building currently has 10,000 square feet of flexible space available that is appropriate for the production stage of technology development, product assembly, and lab testing.

The Corporate Center

The Corporate Center occupies prime real estate on Champaign's growing southern rim. Located off South Neil Street between Kirby Avenue and Windsor Road, it sits adjacent to The Shoppes of Knollwood an upscale retail center. The location offers easy access to the University of Illinois campus, as well as the University's Willard Airport. Major hotel and conference centers are also close at hand, making it easy to host large meetings and conventions nearby. The Corporate Center currently occupies 70 acres, providing approximately 460,000 square feet of Class A office space, housing more than 40 firms.

Currently, 2,600 square feet of Class A office space is available located at 1902 Fox Drive. The space is divisible and can be custom built to suit.
