Research Park Overview
The Research Park at the University of Illinois was designed to encourage research and development collaboration between industry and the University. The Research Park provides each company access to leading faculty researchers, outstanding student talent, and fee-based use of university laboratories and equipment. Collaboration with research faculty can provide creative and cost-effective solutions to technical issues that companies face. The Research Park is located adjacent to the University of Illinois Campus and, has grown rapidly since groundbreaking in April of 2000. At the present time, the Park consists of 420,000 square feet of office and laboratory space occupied by over 70 companies and over 1,200 employees.
