Peter B. Fox, Chairman

Peter B. Fox is Founder of Fox Development Corporation, a real estate development firm which develops, manages, and leases approximately 1.5 million square feet of office and retail space in Champaign, Illinois. Mr. Fox formerly served as Senior Managing Director of Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. from 1985 to 1997. In 1997, he relocated to Champaign to devote more time to his real estate development, small business loan and consulting businesses. Mr. Fox and his companies are focused on creating and retaining jobs associated with technology and the service sector. Most recently, he accepted the responsibility of serving as Manager of Fox/Atkins Development, LLC, developer and manager of the Research Park at the University of Illinois in Champaign. In addition to being the developer of the Research Park, Fox/Atkins invests in companies in the Park through equity on debt, funding, or favorable lease terms. In August 2008 the I Hotel and Conference Center, a joint development of Fox/Atkins and the University of Illinois, had its grand opening. The I Hotel and Conference Center is located on the UI campus in the Research Park and also features a Houlihan’s restaurant franchise. In addition, Mr. Fox has investments in start-up companies and restaurant chains including Jimmy John’s. Over the past several years, the development team has acquired six, built ten Jimmy John’s stores, three in Bloomington, Indiana, three in Durham/Chapel Hill/Raleigh, North Carolina and two in Columbia, South Carolina. Mr. Fox and his family have a heavy involvement with the local community including the adoption of five elementary schools and three UIUC endowed professorships. Mr. Fox received a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University in Economics and Political Science. He resides in Champaign with his wife and two children.

Masha Trenhaile,

Managing Broker and Vice President of Operations

Masha Trenhaile is the Vice President of Operations at Fox Development Corporation as well as the Managing Broker for FDC, LLC. She has broad responsibility related to the diverse portfolio of real estate, including working with the University of Illinois on the marketing of the Research Park, managing over 1.5 million square feet of commercial real estate space for multiple national owners and having day-to-day communication with tenants of all developments. Under Trenhaile's leadership, the Corporate Center was able to recruit and retain companies such as Westchester Group, national farm property managers. Trenhaile first joined FDC in 2004 as the Marketing Specialist and worked her way up through the company management ranks for more than six years. Trenhaile is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a masters in Advertising and holds a BS in Mass Communications (advertising/public relations) and a masters BA in Fine Arts from East Central University in Ada, OK. Trenhaile is also active in the community as a member of Executive Club of Champaign County, board member of the Sinfonia da Camera and an avid member and donor for the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.

Heather Tucker,

Executive Assistant and Community Outreach Coordinator

Heather Tucker joined Fox Development in June 2007 as the Executive Assistant and Community Outreach Coordinator. She provides support for Senior Management, plans and organizes company sponsored philanthropic and business development events, and coordinates Community Outreach projects. Heather received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master’s of Education Degree in Continuing Education and Professional Development from the University of Illinois. She was previously employed as an Executive Assistant with Martin Hood Friese & Associates, LLC. Prior to working for Martin Hood Friese & Associates, LLC, Heather was a Catering Planner for University of Illinois Dining Services.

Natalie Gross, Marketing Specialist

Natalie Gross joined Fox Development Corporation in June 2012 as the company's Marketing Specialist. She is responsible for the marketing of Fox Development and its properties, as well as prospecting new companies for The Research Park and Corporate Center.  Natalie will also spend a portion of her time assisting I Hotel and Conference Center with their marketing.  A University of Illinois graduate, Natalie was born and raised in the Champaign-Urbana area.  She was previously employed by Campus Living Villages as the Director of Marketing and Sales at Illini Tower.  Prior to working at Illini Tower, Natalie was an Account Executive at Comcast Spotlight.  Natalie is also a licensed real estate broker and spent several years selling residential homes in Champaign county.

Dawn Mitsdarffer, Staff Accountant

Dawn Mitsdarffer is the Staff Accountant for Fox Development Corporation. She is responsible for cash receipts processing, rent collections, FDC maintenance hours tracking, financial account analysis and weekly and monthly financial reporting. Prior to joining FDC in August 2008, Dawn worked as Finance Manager for Sports Publishing LLC in Champaign. Dawn brings 15 years of accounting experience to FDC.

Barry Fulton, Tenant Services Manager

Barry Fulton joined FDC in April, 2007. As FDC’s Tenant Services Manager, Barry serves as FDC’s customer service liaison tenants and vendors. He manages the work order database, responding to tenants’ requests, scheduling FDC’s repair and maintenance staff and contracting work through vendors. Barry was previously employed by Cotter Glass Company and has extensive experience in sales and customer service, bidding and writing contracts, ordering materials, and scheduling contract work. He is a Champaign native and prior to working at Cotter Glass, served in the United States Navy as a machinist mate in engineering.

Juan Cruz, Building and Grounds Director

Juan Cruz is Fox Development Corporation’s Supervisor of Grounds and Exterior Maintenance. Juan previously owned his own retail business in Mexico and then moved to Florida to attend Saint John Vianney College. Prior to joining Fox Development Corporation, Juan worked on the repair and maintenance staff for the Champaign Country Club. He has been with FDC since 2001.

Adrienne McPhee, Controller – I Hotel and Conference Center

Adrienne McPhee is the Controller at the I Hotel and Conference Center. She is responsible for cash receipts, monthly entity financial reporting, fiscal information analysis, Jimmy John’s weekly financials, and year-end financial reporting processes. Adrienne graduated with Honors from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a Bachelor's of Science in Accountancy in December 2006 and joined FDC in January 2007.
